All you need is a hair band and some bobby pins. No brush required. It doesn't matter if you have day after styling hair the messy bun still looks great. You just pull your hair back put it in a pony, twist and pin. The high up messy bun is very trendy. Adding accessories like sparkly bobby pins, flowers and even head bands give this look even more style.

The ballerina bun

Another little thing you could do is to leave a small section of hair out to wrap around and cover the hair tie this adds a nice little finish.
