Anne Hathaway, May You Take off your Cat Eye Glasses and Confirm you are not Pensioner Yet
Anne
Hathaway wore an outfit that made her look way
older than her years on Friday as she shuffled out of her New York apartment.
She was wearing a beige hat and carried a woolly leather bag to keep her warm
in the bitterly cold weather. She was also clutching a Thermos. She was
followed by her husband Adam Schulman. Her stylish skinny jeans and leather
booths looked trendy and youthful. However, she had worn heavy layers of
knitwear that seemed to weigh down her petite frame. She wore a large scarf
with thick beige gloves and a large white beanie hat. These gave her a rather
retro look.

Metal Glasses VS Plastic Glasses
Buying prescription glasses online, which suit your personal taste and lifestyle, is time-consuming. Generally speaking, most of glasses frames are made of plastic or metal material. But there is no doubt that there are abundant styles of each material type. For example, cat eye glasses, browline glasses and nerd glasses are often made of plastic material.
If you want to pick a pair of prescription glasses, which one do you prefer? Opinions on this matter vary from persons to persons because both plastic and metal frames have benefits and drawbacks. Today I will share you some considerations.
The strengths and weaknesses of metal glasses frame
The metal glasses frames are more lightweight and less noticeable than plastic frames. Metal glasses frames are available in a wide range of colors beyond basic gold or silver. A broader variety of lens shapes are provided, which are not typically achievable with plastic materials.
Metal glasses frames can be easily adjusted and bent back into shape after an accident, but make sure to enlist the help of a professional. Some frames are even available in a flexible metal alloy that snaps back into position after twisting without damaging the frame. The biggest drawbacks of most metal glasses frames are that they can be a bit more delicate and easier to break. Their tiny screws can also come loose during normal daily activities.
The benefits and drawbacks of plastic glasses frames
One of the hottest trends in recent years has been plastic glasses frames in classic, retro shapes. These styles are an updated fashion favorite offering a rainbow of bold colors and shapes, not just the tortoise and horn-rimmed options that were once associated with plastic frames. Plastic frames are typically more durable than wire ones, especially if you tend to be rougher with your glasses. They also hide thicker lenses better than a wire frame would.
What plastic frames offer in style and durability they lose in adjustment capability, however. Because they don't adjust as easily to your face, you may have increased slippage. Plastic frames also usually come without adjustable nose pads, so they might not be as comfortable.
The plastic material can also stretch and lose its shape more easily over time. This is especially true if you tend to take your frames off and on a lot throughout the day. Plastic frames are not safe to leave in hot cars as heat will cause the frame to expand and contract, bending it out of shape and wearing out the plastic faster. When these frames are broken, they are not as easy to fix as wire frames.
As far as I'm concerned, picking plastic glasses frames or metal glasses frames is about personal styles and preferences. But I recommend that no matter which one you want to buy, you must think over your purposes of buying it.
